Terroir
Le Vent dans les Voiles Rouge is born from an argilo-calcareous terroir, where vines around forty years old are rooted, now in conversion to organic farming. Grenache and Syrah develop here a harmonious ripeness, fine intensity, and a natural freshness.
Each parcel is vinified separately to preserve the uniqueness of the fruit. The grapes, mostly destemmed but uncrushed, are handled with care to maintain their integrity.
Fermentation, carried out with indigenous yeasts, takes place in small concrete tanks to ensure precise expression of each parcel.
Extractions are gentle, alternating light punch-downs and soft pump-overs, with macerations lasting 9 to 21 days.
Aging continues in small concrete tanks and stoneware jars, without fining or filtration, to preserve the wine’s purity.
Deep red with ruby highlights
Nose
Intense and expressive: black cherry, blackberry, and raspberry, accented with hints of pepper and licorice.
Palate
Smooth attack, balanced structure, and silky tannins. Generous fruit blends harmoniously with delicate spices, supported by refreshing acidity. Long, elegant finish with notes of candied fruit and gentle spices.
